“There she is with all those interviews,” said 99% of my social media followers this quarantine. “Doesn’t she have something better to do?”
Sorry (not sorry) if I annoyed you with all the posts. There’s (probably) more to come.
If you were to tell me six months ago that I would have the chance to talk with ESPN reporters and NFL players, I probably would not have believed you.

That’s not the point though. The point is I am extremely grateful for what these past six months have given me.
There is no doubt that COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on our world. It is truly awful, unimaginable and sad.
With that being said, for me, there has been a silver lining.
The pandemic has been a blessing in disguise for me.
I have always been the type of person who wanted to be better. I’ve never truly been satisfied. I’m always wanting to figure out how to better myself and those around me.
Obviously, if you’re reading this you know I want to become a sports reporter.
So, here I am… sitting at home… it’s mid-March… I’m wondering what I can do to get closer to my goals and keep myself out of the pantry.
All thanks to Zoom – I’ve been fortunate enough to interview numerous people who work in the sports industry.

These interviews have allowed me to critique myself and work on the art of interviewing.
More importantly, they have made me fall more in love with the career path that I’m on.

The best part of being a journalist is telling other people’s stories. So – thank you to everyone who opened up and shared theirs with me.
There were also MANY laughs along the way. I loved every second of turning my parents’ dining room into a home studio.
P.S. – thanks for the selfie light dad.
Success will follow!! Thanks for entertaining us!!
♥️🙌🏼♥️
